What you will be doing:

This role is jam packed with things do and learn. No two days will be the same and you certainly wont get bored!

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • You’ll join our team of Security professionals, so you can learn directly from them
  • Discover potential vulnerabilities, threats and hazards in EMR systems, services and processes.
  • Help to develop security designs and configure, deploy and use appropriate cyber security technology to protect the EMR business.
  • Identify, analyse and develop security cases to defend against potential threats.
  • Understand latest attack techniques and recommend ways to defend against them.
  • You’ll help to provide technical support on network security and cyber security deployments across a global business
  • Working across a variety different platforms and technologies, including Data Centre Servers, Networking and Cloud based tools, you’ll develop a wide range of skills and experience

 

 

About you:

This is a development role and the individual will be studying an apprenticeship alongside their day to day duties. Additional requirements / experience:

  • Over 18 – This is due to no under 18`s being allowed on our sites / depots
  • Level 2 (GCSE 4 or above) English and Maths
  • Be self-motivated and proactive, maintain high levels of ethics, integrity and professionalism
  • Have an interest in technology, security and data
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Take ownership of work activities within your control and refer those which are outside your remit to the appropriate person
  • Develop working relationships with people from other areas of IT and the business
  • Attend meetings, training courses and company events as required
  • Contribute where required to the training/mentoring of new staff
  • Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies
